Hyperstyle
SPRING 2023 / ARC408 / Prof. Amina Blacksher
Hyperstyle is a mixed use transportation hub for high speed travel, utilizing Hyperloop technology. Located in Miami, this project is part of a larger network proposing hubs in DC, ATL, DCA, and BOS, all creating a high-speed art network for the east coast. Aside from a Hyperloop terminal, the project provides housing, workshops, and exhibition spaces. Integrating artist support with public transit, allows art's support to become important public infastructure. The building draws inspiration from the long shed typologies of the surrounding industrial area. The project primarily utilizes CLT, seeking 'friendly finishes' on unkown technologies.
